Sonoma County Model Railroad Society (SCMRS) exists to serve the growing number of people in Sonoma County interested in the hobby of model railroading.
Our goals are simple:
- Have fun building a layout and running trains with people from in and around Sonoma County.
- Share the layout as a display with our neighbors here in the County. (And all of the folks who want to come from futher away, of course!)
- Provide opportunities for people to learn about and appreciate the hobby, and to give them the chance to develop and show off their skills to other modelers and to the public.
- Have a large and active membership with a building and layout that is seldom sitting idle.
- Provide a focus and home base for model railroading in Sonoma County.
